If you are unsure of which trip you should take, the dates available or require additional information, please feel free to contact us. We will be happy to discuss your interests, offering suggestions for the best Workshops based on your equipment, physical condition and area of interest. Some of our workshops require hiking, boat landings, etc. While every effort is made to ensure comfort, and minimize exertion, this can prove at times an arduous task for some. Should this be of concern please feel free to discuss this with the photo workshop leader(s). You are under no obligation to participate in all activities, and every effort will be made to accommodate your request.
Payment; Our standard workshop payment policy for our published prices require an initial non-refundable & non-transferrable deposit for reservation of space. Balance is due in full 120 days prior to the workshop date, unless otherwise noted. If we do not receive the balance on or before the due date, we will try to fill your spot off the waiting list, forfeiting your initial (non-refundable) deposit.
Payment may be made by Pay Pal to: firstname.lastname@example.org, personal check, money order, wire or travelers checks made payable in U.S. Funds to the order of Shoot the Light, Inc. We accept most major credit cards, by phone, in our office at 828-891-4082. Payments may also be mailed to: Shoot the Light, Inc. P.O. Box 987, Horse Shoe, NC 28742
Note- Fluctuations in foreign currency exchange rates and fuel surcharges incurred before trip departures will be applied to final balance due.

Trip Insurance; We highly recommend you consider purchasing trip insurance in the event of weather, illness or any other emergency, which delays or prevents you from reaching your destination during your trip.. Cancellations, Delays & Refunds; We strongly encourage obtaining Trip or Travel Insurance to cover eventualities that may cause travel difficulties or losses you may incur, of which Shoot the Light Inc. is not responsible. This is why we strongly encourage our participants to obtain Trip or Travel Insurance to cover any unforeseen situations occurring before or during the trip that would cause losses not covered by our policy.
Trip Cancellation For Any Reason Prior To Trip Date; NO REFUND will be provided on cancellations made within 120 days of an STL Workshop, and from 90 days for a Day in the Field (One on One) session. We highly recommend obtaining Trip/Travel Insurance to cover any/all unforeseen circumstances that may prohibit you from accompanying us on the workshop or Day in the Field session.
Admin Fee; A $250 fee will be imposed if switching workshop is deemed applicable, with written notification and within the time allotment stated above.
Weather Delays: There shall be NO REFUND for weather delay or cancellation because of weather before arrival or during the scheduled workshop. Shoot the Light Inc. is not responsible for any additional costs that may be incurred by weather delays or cancellations due to weather, flight delays, or otherwise. Confirmation We will confirm receipt of your payment by email and/or telephone. In the event payment is not received within 10 days of the booking date, we will make a courtesy telephone call to you provided you have supplied us your telephone number. If it is determined that payment was lost or delayed in the mail, you will be given the opportunity to Overnight Express Mail or Wire the funds to maintain your reservations. If we are unable to reach you by the phone number provided, your booked dates will be released. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have regarding our policies.
This payment and booking policy is written in simple terms. If you do not understand any part of it please inquire of us to be more specific and we will be happy to explain any part you may not understand. If you do not ask, we assume you understand our policy as we intended it.
Shoot The Light®, Charles Glatzer and any of their agents, representatives, employees, guides, joint ventures, partners, service providers or providers of accommodations (collectively, the "Provider Group") reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any participant, attendee or other in any workshop, regardless of whether a deposit has been accepted or the workshop has commenced and full payment have been made, should, in the sole and absolute discretion of any member of the Provider Group, such participant, attendee or other have impeded the operation of the trip or the rights, safety, welfare or enjoyment of other members of the trip. Refunds of any amounts paid to Provider Group (i) prior to departure for the workshop shall be in accordance with the published policies of the Provider Group and (ii) after the departure for the workshop, IF ANY, shall be in the sole and absolute discretion of Provider Group, it being agreed that removal from a workshop in progress may result in complete forfeiture of any amounts previously paid. Agreement to the forgoing terms and conditions is a condition precedent to enrollment in any workshop..
